A brief overview of the goal-focused implementation process will be provided as an outline of the steps that CDDRE uses to facilitate the selection, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based practices in schools.

Sample school data will be presented to illustrate the process of analyzing state and program data to create a sense of urgency about change. Participants will interact within teams to discuss the process of data analysis and obstacle identification.

Examining the root causes of problems is a multifaceted step. An overview of the various areas that should be examined will be shared.

An overview of change theory will be provided with an emphasis on the Levels of Use (LoU) included within the Concerns-Based Adoption Model (C-BAM). Practical examples will be provided to illustrate how to facilitate movement to higher levels of implementation.

Evaluating Results
The importance of evaluating results, complete with examples of how schools and districts have effectively implemented this step, will be presented. Sample 4Sight benchmark assessments will be used to illustrate short-term evaluation. Various formats of long-term evaluations will also be shared.
